Underground Archives offers a variety of file purge support services to index, catalogue, and pack all types of information. Our goal is to help you get your files under control. Performing a file purge removes the older, less active files from an active file area or storage room, leaving space for new files and easier access. File purges are generally performed annually but may be done quarterly if your space is limited.
File purges can be completed for terminal digit, alpha numeric, and birthday indices. Optionally, you can have barcodes added to your files, creating a complete digital “roadmap” for your own records. Once purged, files or patient charts can be moved to another open shelf filing system or boxed and transported to our Underground Archives record storage facility.
