PLAA – Pittsburgh Legal Administrators Assocation

The Pittsburgh Legal Administrators Association (PLAA) is a non-profit educational organization serving administrative professionals from private law firms, corporate legal departments, and government agencies in the southwestern Pennsylvania legal community.

SAA – Society of American Archivists

Founded in 1936, the Society of American Archivists is North America’s oldest and largest national archival professional association. SAA’s mission is to serve the educational and informational needs of more than 5,500 individual and institutional members and to provide leadership to ensure the identification, preservation, and use of records of historical value.

MARAC – Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference

Begun in 1972, MARAC is a volunteer, regional consortium of archivists who live and work in the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and West Virginia, and in the District of Columbia.

WVACO – West Virginia Association of Counties

The mission of the West Virginia Association of Counties is to achieve unity of purpose among elected county officials including assessors, circuit clerks, county clerks, county commissioners, prosecuting attorneys and sheriffs in order to promote the professionalism, reservation and protection of county government for the benefit of all county citizens they serve.

NARA – National Archives & Records Administration

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is the nation’s record keeper. For more than seven decades, NARA has preserved and provided access to the records of the United States of America. Records help citizens claim rights and entitlements, hold elected officials accountable for their actions, and document the history as a nation.

PRODA – Pennsylvania Recorder of Deeds Association

PRODA is a state wide membership organization of all 67 county Recorders of Deeds and Recording Officers. PRODA meets annually for an educational and business conference in various sites throughout Pennsylvania, hosted by those county Recorders of Deeds.

NAGARA – National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators

The National Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators is a professional association dedicated to the improvement of federal, state, and local government records and information management and the professional development of government records administrators and archivists.  Members include county, municipal, and special district governments, state agencies (state records centers, archives and libraries), the National Archives and Records Administration; individual federal employees; the General Archives of Puerto Rico; and a number of provincial and institutional programs.

AMIA – Association of Moving Image Archivists

AMIA is a non-profit professional association established to advance the field of moving image archiving by fostering cooperation among individuals and organizations concerned with the acquisition, description, preservation, exhibition and use of moving image materials.

ARMA International

ARMA International is a not-for-profit professional association and the authority on managing records and information – paper and electronic. The association was established in 1955. Its approximately 11,000 members include records managers, archivists, corporate librarians, imaging specialists, legal professionals, IT managers, consultants, and educators, all of whom work in a wide variety of industries, including government, legal, healthcare, financial services, and petroleum in the United States, Canada, and 30-plus other countries.

Ohio Recorders Association

The County Recorder keeps and maintains accurate land records that are current, legible and easily accessible. An important aspect of the Recorder’s work is to index each document so it may be readily located. Accurate indexing makes it possible for persons searching land records to find the documents necessary to establish a “chain of title” (history of ownership) and ensures that any debts or encumbrances against the property are evident. These invaluable records are utilized by the general public, attorneys, historians, genealogists and land title examiners.

PRISM International – Professional Records & Information Services Management

PRISM International is the not-for-profit trade association for the commercial information management industry. This industry is made up of outsourcing partners that provide their clients with physical and digital information protection, access, retention, storage and disposal.

NIRMA – Nuclear information and Records Management Association

The Nuclear Information and Records Management Association (NIRMA) is the nuclear industry’s leader in information management. Since 1977 NIRMA has been uniquely qualified to provide guidance to commercial and Department of Energy (DOE) facilities in the areas of quality records programs, regulatory compliance activities, electronic records initiatives, document management technologies, and knowledge management issues.

Lawrence County Economic Development Committee

OHIMA – Ohio Health Information Management Association

The Ohio Health Information Management Association has over 2200 members dedicated to the effective management of personal health information needed to deliver quality healthcare to the public. PHIMA – Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association

Members of the Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association are committed to maintenance and improvement in the quality of health information for the benefit of patients and providers. This is accomplished by coordinating exchange of information for clinical, research, and financial reimbursement purposes, seeking constantly to protect confidentiality of health care information and provide continuing education for health professionals.

Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce

The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce is the entry way to our community. For over 60 years, the Chamber has been the Information Center for Ellwood City area businesses and the community.

Armstrong County Chamber of Commerce

PCUA – Pennsylvania Credit Union Association

The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association is the trade association for Pennsylvania’s credit unions created in 1934 as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. The Association is owned by its member credit unions and is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors, elected by, and from, affiliated credit unions in nine Districts. Nearly 90 percent of Pennsylvania’s credit unions are members of the Association.
